Adventures at the Stanford Cactus Garden

One of my favorite little and not so secret places to explore with families is the Stanford Arizona Cactus Garden. It is such a unique oasis tucked inside of the campus and is filled with beautiful cacti, desert plants and walking paths. On this particular Saturday, I met up with the cutest family and we were definitely not alone, no less than 5 other families were there also soaking up the gorgeous morning light.

This spot is the perfect location for a casual and fun family photo shoot. Little man loved running around on the dirt pathways and mom and dad tried their best to catch up. With so many interesting nooks you’ll never run out of areas to shoot in and it truly feels like you are in a different world. While I have shot here in the evening previously, this was my first morning light shoot here and I loved the soft warm lighting!

I had a great time walking around capturing this family’s adventures at the cactus garden, we even got a ton of adorable smiles out of little man!
